A Message from Frank van Schaayk, Chair of NSHA Board of Directors
As you know the CEO Search Advisory Committee has been working with an executive search firm to identify candidates for the role of CEO to lead the NSHA when Janet Knox retires. This work continues and I am pleased to report that we have had very positive interest in the role. We have had interest from excellent leaders in Canada, the U.S. and Europe. We’ve received feedback that this opportunity with the NSHA is very compelling in that the organization is established and well on the path to being a model of integrated health services for the rest of the country to follow.
The Search Advisory Committee has begun the work of interviewing potential candidates and will continue to do so over the next couple of months.
I would like to assure our staff and stakeholders that the Search Committee takes its work very seriously and will conclude our search only when we have identified the right leader to take our organization into the future. We anticipate being able to share more over the next couple of months.
