Paving work taking place at Guysborough Memorial Hospital this week

GUYSBOROUGH, N.S. - Paving work takes place this week at Guysborough Memorial Hospital as part of regular facility maintenance.

Work begins on Tuesday, Aug. 25 and is expected to take between one to two days to complete.

While work is underway on the main access road to the rear of the building, traffic will be reduced to one lane in that area. Some parking spots will not be useable and will be blocked off while the work is underway. Access to the site will not be impeded.

Staff, physicians and public will be able to access entrances to the hospital while paving is underway. Please use caution as you enter and exit the hospital’s grounds and if you are near areas outside the hospital where work is being done. Also, please adhere to COVID-19 measures including visitor restrictions, social distancing, wearing a non-surgical mask and good hand hygiene.

Nova Scotia Health appreciates your patience and cooperation while this work is underway.
