Several Halifax-area blood collection clinics to close early Saturday due to impending storm


HALIFAX, N.S. – Nova Scotia Health Authority (NSHA) advises the public that several Halifax-area blood clinic clinics will close early Saturday due to the storm headed for our province this weekend.

The following blood collection clinics, normally open Saturday, will close at 11 a.m.:

  • Bayers Road Centre in Halifax
  • Dartmouth General Hospital
  • Woodlawn Blood Collection on Main Street in Dartmouth
  • The Community Wellness Centre at Spryfield Shopping Centre
  • St. Margaret's Square in Tantallon
